Women's Premier League Auction: Today the market will be decorated for WPL, know the answer to every question related to the auction

The auction is to be held on Monday (February 13) for the Women's Premier League. 409 players will be bidding in the auction to be held at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai. All eyes will be on Indian players like Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma in the auction.

WPL 2023 - Cricket Sports Keeda

Monday (February 13) is going to be a historic day for Indian cricket. The players are going to be auctioned for the Women's Premier League on Monday. 409 players will be bidding in the auction to be held at Mumbai's Jio World Convention Center. Out of these 409 players, 246 are Indian and 163 are foreign players. The first season of the Women's Premier League will be organized from March 4 to 26 at the Brabourne and DY Patil Stadiums in Mumbai. Let us know about the important things related to this auction.

When and what time will the auction take place?

The auction will be held at Jio World Convention Center in Mumbai from 2.30 pm Indian time. A total of five teams will bid for players in the auction.

Where will you be able to watch WPL auction?

Who will be the auctioneer of WPL?

BCCI has appointed presenter Mallika Advani as the auctioneer. That is, she will conduct the auction process of the players. 

How much is the auction purse for all the teams?

Each team has a total auction purse of Rs 12-12 crores. During this, teams can buy only minimum 15 and maximum 18 players in their team. Any franchisee can buy only seven foreign players.
